Summary

A B2B SaaS company came to Engagement Amplified to own how buyers discover and vet the product, the Reddit threads its customers actually read before they commit to a tool.

In roughly two weeks, EA-built threads captured 14 page-one Google rankings across five threads, including the #1 spot for the brand's review term, and started surfacing in AI answers.

The threads don't just rank for the brand name. They intercept the high-intent problem searches that send buyers looking for exactly what the client sells.

The Challenge

Before working with Engagement Amplified, the brand faced three problems:

  • Buyers vet tools in Reddit threads and AI answers, not on vendor sites, and those threads were owned by competitors or by nobody.
  • Comparison and "is it worth it" searches returned everything except a credible answer for the brand.
  • No presence in the AI answers buyers now use to shortlist tools.

The Solution: EA's Reddit Visibility System

We deployed a Reddit visibility system built for credible, human-led discovery, engineered to rank on Google and get cited by AI.

02. Owned threads across the full intent stack

  • Built buyer-matched personas and mapped them to the subreddits its customers actually read.
  • Keyword, competitor and thread analysis to find the highest-intent conversations.
  • Engineered threads designed to rank across problem-aware, comparison and validation intent.
  • Problem threads, head-to-heads ("[brand] vs [competitor]"), and reviews ("[brand] review", "is it worth it").
  • Real, Reddit-native participation, technically credible, useful first, no bots or spam.
  • Third-party thread commenting to intercept competitor and category demand.

The Results

Five EA-built threads now rank on Google page one for 14 high-intent keywords, brand, comparison and problem-aware intent (queries redacted):

Positions from a SERP snapshot after ~2 weeks live. Keywords redacted for confidentiality. The core brand term carries ~5.1K US searches/mo; the rest are high-intent comparison and problem-aware queries.

Google SERP, ranking #2 for a "[brand] vs [competitor]" comparison query. Brand redacted.

Why it compounds: the AI-answer layer

Ranking these threads on Google is only half the win. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI answers pull heavily from Reddit, so the same threads that rank also become the source AI quotes when a buyer asks "is [brand] any good?" or "[brand] vs [competitor]?".

Every ranked thread is a durable citation surface: it keeps working long after it's published, across both search and AI.

ChatGPT sentiment-checking the brand, pulling from Reddit (the ranked thread appears in its 30 cited sources). Brand redacted.
